Twin Cities to mark 40-year anniversary

TEMPLETON —Twin Cities Community Hospital, with roots that date back to early 1972 when north county civic leaders closed and combined two smaller hospitals into one, is one of north county’s most trusted health care providers.
Located at 1100 Las Tables Rd., the hospital, which serves community members from all over San Luis Obispo County, far exceeds United States Department of Health and Human Services standards and expectations, especially in comparison to other nationally rated hospitals.
The quality of care, measured by looking at the number of complications and hospital acquired infections that occur, as well as the service, which is measured through outpatient questionnaires, have both received five star ratings, which is the highest score possible.
Templeton, in honor and recognition of these last forty years of pure dedication and effort, will host a celebration for Twin Cities Community Hospital on Wednesday, May 10.
The event, which will take place at the hospital from 12:30 - 1 p.m., will feature a ribbon cutting as well as a community wellness fair.
Admission to the event is free, but for more information about the hospital or to find a physician, visit their website at
